New York, 9/ll; Madrid, 3/11; Mumbai, 7/ll

Brian Ross Reports:

Nm_india_060711_nrThe date of the attack, the 11th, may be only a coincidence, but it won't be ignored as investigators try to figure out who was behind today's deadly commuter train attacks in India.

The 11th has now been chosen as an attack date in New York, Madrid and Mumbai.

"There's a lot of symbolism involved when terrorists choose their targets and the dates of their attacks," said Jack Cloonan, a former FBI agent on the bin Laden squad who now works as an ABC News consultant.

"Who knows?" said Cloonan.

Last year's attacks in London was on 7/7.

No group has claimed responsibility for today's attacks, but FBI counter-terrorism officials say it is clearer than ever that the relatively unguarded big city mass transit systems have now become the primary target for terrorists across the world.

The plot disrupted last week in the United States also involved a major commuter train line, the PATH trains, which run under the Hudson River from New Jersey into New York City.

Officials say the people involved in that plot had planned their attack for as close to Sept. 11 as possible.

Last year's subway attacks in London came as the G-8 meeting of world leaders was being held in Scotland.  Today's attacks come on the eve of this year's G-8 meeting to be held in Moscow.

Why isn't the item at the top of the page instead of buried at the bottom? It took three tries to find it!

Then I found nothing else to comment on...a pity and sorry.

A lot of things having to do with the terrorist attacks are linked..and the dates just have a certain symbol...Like we arent suppose to forget everything? I personally am annoyed that we have not made a parking lot out of Iraq for a uber large American Mall...what do you think?

Its time to give credit to those who are making sure these attacks are not occuring in the US.

Why are these governments of these countries having such a hard time finding these iraqes terrorists and can not do anything about it, after it has happen. This is very simliar to the 3/11 attack on the world trade buildings , which I beleive the reason for that was lacked in security measures. I felt like their may need to be more security on board trains and any other public vechiles and facilities ,which will enchance security making people feel safe. Also I felt the government or airlines did not do a further background check on passengers meaning retricts certain chemicals and other substance that can be use to make bomb with.

We ALL need to quite pointing fingers and for GOD sake keep our eye's and ears open. Keep our armor on at ALL time's. There is more to come in our world, because so much has already been taken from us. They took the "Pray" out of schools, The "Pledge allegiance"..Parents rights..as far as "Kids have NO respect anymore "THE Ten Commandments... It's still "One Nation" under "God"
But let us NOT forget..It still says it on our Bill's (moneies that is $1.00; $5.00 & so on) People now don't have much of a choose anymore...Hey if the terroist can have it all on a $20.00 bill. (4 planes; 20 terroist; pentigon; Osama, 2 towers) What the heck...

Why do the terrorists hate us? Why do they want to kill us?. What do they want from us? What have we done to cause them to be so extrem?. There is something horrible wrong and we do not have all the answers. We do not see ourselves as doing anything wrong. We are totally innocent (not) we hoard, lie, and cheat other nations out of their Oil, Produce, Diamonds, Coffee, Choclate, everything for our benefit without considering others. Why do they hate us. We keep other nations down with corrupt officials that answer only to us. We are wanton and surely we will be wighed and measured for our wanton ways.

Ok already! Why does someone always have to bring "GOD" into the picture. This is not one nation under God. It is one Planet under God. God did not creat the USA...Man did. And God did not bless America. Americans just wants him (it, her, whatever)too. So stop trying to bring "God" onto our side. If I were "God" I wouldn't take sides. I think I would just erase it all and start over. Good thing I'm not God I guess.

As for "Ed", GOD is a part of us and this country and always will be. We were built on religious freedom and the freedom of speech. That is the base of this nation. If you dont believe in it, then feel free to find your way out. I wont stop you. "Ed", GOD bless Texas, GOD bless the USA, and GOD, I hope, blesses you.

First off, before you make comments about how God this and God that.....get your facts straight. If you listen to any of the President's speeches, he says "and MAY God bless America". No one ever said that God did in fact bless America. And yes, it is a good thing you are not God, because erasing a problem and starting over is not fixing it. I hope that is not how you handle your personal life.

Questions on the Mumbai Atrocity:

…from The Hindu:

“Police suspect Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) and banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) to be behind the serial blasts in suburban trains in Mumbai that claimed 190 lives and left over 600 injured.”

I’ve a few questions….

Both of these organizations have expressed open sympathy for Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda. Might have they been aided by the White House’s leak of al-Qaeda operative Muhammed Naeem Noor Khan’s identity to the press two years ago?

Terrorism is defined as “The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons” [American Heritage Dictionary]. What was the “ideological or political reason”?

Terrorism is committed to make a political demand or to “make a point”. In this case, as in so many others, no statement has been made. How does anyone make a political demand without making it? How does one “make a point” without stating it? Reports are that this was carried out by a “large” and “sophisticated” group. However, they don’t seem large or sophisticated enough to state their goals.

Will New Delhi follow the disingenuous examples of Washington and Westminster after the 9/11 and 7/7 atrocities respectively, and use this as an excuse for curbing civil liberties or even for foreign mischief?

And as always...Cui bono?

Let’s see…

9th letter of the alphabet is “i”
3rd letter of the alphabet is “c”
7th letter of the alphabet is “g”

ICG …and the number 11 is associated with all.

Google “ICG 11” and notice the first result that comes up. Hmmm.

Can't help but see the possibility of attacks on information systems (internet, trading systems, bank servers, air traffic controllers) on 4/11.

There is also a Friday the thirteenth 2 days later.

Also watch out for march 22 with its ties to skull and bones (322)and the Geroge Guidstones...
