To the trained eye of Capt. Eric May, the breaking current events of October 2007 continued to show a high level skullduggery.
In the last chapter of Book II, we left off with the culmination of Operation TOPOFF, the largest civil defense exercise to date in American history. The Bush regime amassed one of the largest naval armadas in post World War II history off Iran’s coast. Rhetorically, Bush was spoiling for a fight.
It is hard to quantify how much the cyber activism of people like Capt. Eric May helped awaken civilian and military leaders to provide serious domestic opposition to Bush’s schemes. However, what is indisputable is the key role Russia’s President Vladimir Putin played in thwarting Bush. He visited Tehran during the first two days of TOPOFF. He became the first Russian leader since Stalin in 1943 to step on Iranian soil. This Russian support for Iran very likely stopped Bush cold.
In the last chapter of Book II, we also covered how bomb-sniffing police dogs alerted to a car at the hotel where Michael Chertoff, Director of Homeland Security, was staying in Portland, Oregon.
This city had been the major focus of TOPOFF’s “dirty nuke” exercise scenario, whereby a hypothetical conventional explosive wrapped in nuclear waste created a radioactive plume enveloping downtown Portland. The official target was the Steel Bridge that crosses the Willamette River in downtown Portland. It was only a few blocks away from a parking lot of the NW Natural Gas headquarters building, whose precise grid coordinates and general description (to include white parked vans) fit a dirty nuclear explosion scenario portrayed in the "Operation Blackjack" drama published by the UK Telegraph in Jan 2009 (see Chapter 37)
Meanwhile, another pipeline exploded within the “Houston Terror Triangle.” Captain May believed that the high rate of pipeline and refinery explosions in the greater Houston area reflected more than just efforts by criminals to score profits in gasoline futures markets. This could also involve an "abort" signal from the same Mossad-CIA-controlled mafia that controls the international drug trade ranging from the opium poppy fields of Afghanistan to the jungles of Columbia.
May believed that the Bush administration wanted to explode a nuke in the greater Houston area to get its repeat 9-11 false flag pretext for war with Iran. To carry this out, Mossad-CIA would simply swap a conventional explosive with a nuke. To reduce their own finger prints on the operation, they would probably utilize "ground floor" level criminals ordinarily focused on scoring profits in the futures markets. They would probably also frame some Iranian “lone nut” as a patsy, analogous to Oswald in the JFK assassination.
Just as soon as suspicious events surrounding TOPOFF subsided,wild fires broke out in Southern California. Just bad luck for Californians?
Please recollect from Chapter 16 of Book II, how former Naval Intelligence Officer Wayne Madsen, in his September 11, 2008 update “Bush family cleaning up on transfer of public lands to private hands,” commented: “[The Wayne Madsen Report] has also learned that the Bush administration ordered a number of California and other Western state forest wildfires purposefully set with the intention of damaging and destroying federal and state forest lands, thus making them ripe for exploitation and sale to private interests.”

In his 31 Oct 2007 interview with Dr. James Fetzer, Capt. May explained why the Bush cabal was in strong need (once again) of another manufactured event to supplant potentially embarrassing news:

Capt May:...Two coincidental events, Jim you will appreciate this. Sunday the 21st of October in Turkey, what, eight time zones ahead of us. They got in a border clash and lost 13 or 14 Turkish troops, killed a few dozen Kurdish insurgents, and before the day is out you have the whole nation in Turkey clamoring for an invasion against Iraq where there is Kurdistan. Well Kurdistan, as perhaps you know, is the most cooperative of the three ethnic groups in Iraq, the Kurds, and they are also under the particular patronage of the Israelis and the Mossad. They are connected to Israel. Israel makes a special effort to stay connected to that third of the Iraqi equation. So here we had a news story, which should have been the biggest news story of the month, let alone the day, which was, "You can't really say you occupy or are handling a country when your erstwhile NATO ally Turkey is getting ready to invade the country you are occupying." Right? So within six hours we have fires in California. So for the whole week that the top story should have been "American Middle East policy imploding, Turkish parliament ratifying war amendment, Turkish military massing and mobilizing on eastern border against northwestern Kurds in Iraq," that story was nowhere. Nowhere to be found. The top story was people losing their houses. So it cost a billion dollars to throw up enough stuff to keep California fires on top and the California fire events happened immediately after they finished with TOPOFF. I mean, they were already geared for crisis management.

In his 1 Nov 2007 Theresa Mitchell interview, Capt. May described how arson was part of a continuing malevolent pattern:

Capt. May: …Lets take the whole topic of fire in general. Seven of the ten most active fire years in history have been the first seven years of the Bush administration. Now I know there are climatological factors whatnot and we can discuss that for another venue, but the simple fact is that there has been a spate of freaky fires. The percentages are not up slightly. They are up a hundred percent. Two hundred percent. I can remember when brother Jeb used to run Florida --Bush's brother Jeb. Florida was having a hundred or two hundred fires at a time routinely. And no one was saying the word "arson." You know the tricky thing about watching the mainstream media is that you have to listen for what they are not saying. No one mentions arson in that stuff. The same way the Midwest, the program of the winter of 2006, all the farmers were getting burned out. And one has to wonder in the cases of Florida, you know, are these things, as I wrote in my last article, are they fire drills for martial law? Are they getting their system together? Are they practicing it? If so, that would explain why brother Jeb's state of Florida constantly got hit by fires. Of the Midwestern fires, did they eliminate small family farms and work for big agribusiness? I would suspect yes. That is the way disaster tends to go. An attempt by rich folks to shut out poor folks.
Mitchell: You have got a sympathetic audience here [in Portland, Oregon] for that speculation, because when George Bush came out here, we had a mysterious fire. It was about the biscuit sale, if I remember correctly.
Capt May: Well, you have got to see Bush --and we are going to get to California next-- but you have to see Bush as a neo-Nero. If you don't see him in that light, you don't see him. You know, Cheney will do terror and torture and mass homicide as a matter of policy. But Bush does it as a matter of pleasure. He has a Nero streak or a Caligula streak. You know Nero played lyre while Rome burned. You know he didn't see barbecued babies. He didn't care if he did. What he saw was a sea of fire and an emerging Rome made out of marble. That was his boast, that the fire took Rome from a city of bricks to a city of marble.

In his 30 Oct 2007 article “A False Flag Fire Drill," Capt May exposed the strong likelihood of skullduggery behind the San Diego fires.

The fires started on Sunday, Oct. 21, and they encircled their principal target of San Diego with military precision. You can’t fault people for feeling like they’re under attack when a natural disaster hits them. As the week wore on and the flames burned on, disturbing facts began to emerge to show that their feelings were right.

Cold-Blooded Arson

"Whoever did this knew what they were doing," said Kris Concepcion, a fire authority battalion chief. Multiple witnesses attested to multiple fires being set by arsonists to attack targeted areas. Police shot and killed one alleged arsonist who was trying to make a getaway. Fox News led an infowar campaign to attribute the arsons to Al Qaeda, the ubiquitous Bush League bogeyman.
By the end of the first week, though, there was no evidence to support the claim that bin Laden’s buddies had torched dreamland. This would not do at all. There must be a criminal for every crime, else the people will begin to ask uncomfortable questions about just who the criminals might be. Politicos and Presstitutes searched for an appropriate patsy, and reasoned that if the incendiaries couldn’t be little brown Muslims then they must have been little brown Mexicans, who were a pretty close match in the public mind.
It was too little too late, of course. The Internet cat came yowling and scratching out of the mainstream media bag, despite their best efforts to contain it. Now, on the 10th day since the advent of the fires, cybersleuths have exposed the Fox Al Qaeda stories as warmed over propaganda from 2003 FBI sources. Likewise, they have networked the information that California fire stations were reporting professional efforts to gather intelligence on their layout and operations during the summer.

It is bad enough that individual criminals could be setting fires for a variety of selfish motives, such as malicious fun, to collect insurance, or to burn up prime real estate land that can later be acquired by developer confederates for pennies on the dollar. But matter could get worse. All of this can become much more organized and systematic. The threat of arson can serve as a business plan for “privatized” security firms who operate as protection rackets. Individualized and even small-scale organized crime can become legitimized and mainstreamed on a major level.
I am reminded of the caption on a joke business card I saw in a gift shop just outside the Marine Corps base in Quantico, Virginia as a newly commissioned USMC Second Lieutenant in the late 1970’s. The business card read, “Let me win your hearts and minds, or I will burn your damn hut down.” This was only a few years after the end of America’s involvement in the Vietnam War, which included televised scenes of Army and Marine patrols applying Zippo lighters to suspected Viet Cong hamlets. In 1968, AP correspondent Peter Arnett explained the leveling of the provincial capital, Bến Tre by stating, "'It became necessary to destroy the town to save it."
Incidentally, this tragic irony got repeated in the Second Battle of Fallujah in November and December 2004 as part of America's Iraq-Af-Pak-Iran theater re-run of the "Vietnam Movie" (see Chapter 37).
Most libertarians agree that corrupt governments run the biggest protection rackets of all. A Bush cabal caption for 2007 might instead read –and this time no joke and no irony intended— “Give us private security firm contracts to augment your local police and fire department, or we will burn your damn community down.”

In his 1 Nov 2007 interview with Theresa Mitchell of KBOO radio, Portland, Capt May explained how this threat loomed before Potrero, a small town 47 miles east of San Diego and just north of Tecate, Mexico.
First identified at 10:00 AM on Oct 21, 2007, a fire started spreading rapidly westward towards Potrero with the wind.

Capt May: …Potrero has become famous because it has stood up to and administratively impeded the plans of Blackwater mercenary corporation which wants to buy a couple of square miles, 824 acres, to set up eleven firing ranges among other things so that they can begin training police auxiliaries and whatnot. Remember, they are a paramilitary mercenary organization, so they will train anything from soldiers to your local constable, God help us, and they want to set up a facility down there. Now between me and thee Theresa, having a facility right there on the Mexican border about 25 miles outside of a main city is also a wonderful way to bring in drugs.
Mitchell: Drugs!?
Capt May: There is plenty of money to be made out of having a private mercenary camp on the border. And remember, these guys are semi-spooks anyway. They are linked in with CIA, Special Forces, that whole covert apparatus of government. Blackwater was the residence of Potrero and if you look at that same map I referred you to, the fire map, what we will find is the Harris fire --the lowest of the fires --started, the wind was blowing from east to west. Southeast to northwest approximately. So the extreme southeast corner of the fire zone would be the place where the fire started because fires cannot go up wind. They go downwind. The wind blows the flame. We find that the fires, coincidentally, the fires that really afflicted the entire southeast quadrant of San Diego started about half a mile to the southeast of Potrero. Meaning, that when those fires started, let us assume "intelligent design" so we can please the Republican listeners out there.
Mitchell: [laughter]
Capt. May: Let us assume intelligent design here. If the fires were intelligently designed, then the first and inevitable target that they were going to eliminate was going to be the township of Potrero. Now after it was all over, you had this kind of Al Capone act by Blackwater which has one of its vice presidents out there saying "Oh gee, poor Potrero, if only we had finished building that training facility, you know we would have had all kinds of firefighting equipment and reserve water capacity. You know that town probably wouldn't have burned down if we had been there."
Mitchell: Yes. It is the "compassion" of Blackwater.
Capt. May: [Sarcastically]. Yes! Yes!!! And now one has to surmise that the people of Potrero are going to be extremely amenable to Blackwater. I mean, principle is principle, but when your house is burned down, and you need to rebuild your life, you know, what the hell does Blackwater care if they have to come in and pay twice as much to get this thing kicked off as they originally were going to. They could come in like Santa Claus and throw around a few thousand bucks here, there, and everywhere. You know, rebuild the marching band practice hall, a new football field, and a new library. They can buy up all the love. It is very convenient. Extremely convenient for Blackwater.
Mitchell: Funny that.
Capt. May: It is just like the point of history. When we talk about all these things, you know, turning America into "Amerika" with a "k." And the emergence of a corporate "S.S." which is the mercenary corporations. You know we are talking about Blackwater is the one that comes to mind first. In fact Theresa the upshot of all of this the private mercenary corporations are now all talking about --get this-- selling specific year by year insurance to interested municipalities. You know, $20-30,000 for a small municipality, where they will guarantee to come help you if your place catches on fire.
Mitchell: You know we have had private fire companies before in American history, and they were, well, infamous for sort of standing by when fires just happened accidentally rather frequently in places that had not paid for that insurance. And you would think that people would learn from that history.
Capt May: Yes. Pay me five dollars a day and you won't get beat up on the way to school. You don't pay me five dollars a day, you get beat up on the way to school. You know, we call that extortion.

To the credit of the good citizens of Potrero, Blackwater never got the West Coast foothold it craved in their area. In the March 8, 2008 Union-Tribune Sandiego.com article “Blackwater bid is withdrawn” Anne Krueger reported:

Blackwater Worldwide dropped its plans yesterday to build a military and law enforcement training camp in East County, ending a storm of controversy over the security contractor's presence in the county… …
Residents feared Blackwater's training facility would bring noise and traffic to the community. They and others also didn't like the idea of having the government contractor in San Diego County, particularly after reports of a Sept. 16 shooting in Baghdad in which Blackwater employees killed 17 Iraqi civilians.
After the incident, Blackwater Chairman Erik Prince was called before Congress, and U.S. officials imposed tougher restrictions on Blackwater and other security companies working in Iraq.

Capt. May’s denunciation of the domestic mercenary army trend was reinforced by Don Wassal’s Intelligence Report for the June 2009 in the Nationalist Times:

Bill Moyers’ PBS show recently focused on the rise of mercenaries and private armies to fight on behalf of the Glorious Imperial Multicultural Empire. Moyers interviewed left-populist investigative journalist Jeremy Scahill, who has been documenting the ongoing phenomenon, which kicked into high gear with the onset of the Bush nightmare regime.
One of the benefits for the Empire of having private armies is that it helps alleviate the need to build allegiance for its wars from traditional volunteer and conscript armies. As Scahill told Moyer: “I think that what we have seen happen, as a result of this incredible reliance on private military contractors, is that the United States has created a new system for waging war. Where you no longer have to depend exclusively on your own citizens to sign up for the military and say, ‘I believe in this war, so I’m willing to sign up and risk my life for it.’ You turn the entire world into your recruiting ground. You intricately link corporate profits to an escalation of warfare and make it profitable for companies to participate in your wars. In the process of doing that you undermine U.S. democratic processes. And you also violate the sovereignty of other nations, because you’re making their citizens into combatants in a war to which their country is not a party. I feel that the end game of all of this could well be the disintegration of the nation-state apparatus in the world. And it could be replaced by a scenario where you have corporations with their own private armies. To me, that would be a devastating development. But it’s on. It’s happening on a micro level. And I fear it will start to happen on a much bigger scale.”
Scahill has also written on the increasing use in U.S. cities of armed mercenaries to replace policemen. The number of private security guards in the U.S. surpassed the number of policemen in the 1980s and some estimate there are currently as many as five times the number of private mercs as there are police (and there is certainly no shortage of police in most cities). The trend to use mercs to take over police duties began in New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, where, writes Scahill, “[P]rivate security poured in. Armed operatives from companies like Blackwater, Wackenhut, Intercon and DynCorp spread out in the city. Within two weeks of the hurricane, the number of private security companies registered in Louisiana jumped from 185 to 235. In New Orleans at the time, I interviewed Israeli commandos from a company called Instinctive Shooting International as they operated an armed checkpoint on Charles after having been hired by a wealthy businessman. . .
The Wall Street Journal this week reported, ‘Facing pressure to crack down on crime amid a record budget deficit, Oakland is joining other U.S. cities that are turning over more law enforcement duties to private armed guards. The City Council recently voted to hire International Services, Inc., a private security agency, to patrol crime-plagued districts. While a few Oakland retail districts previously have pooled cash to pay for unarmed security services, using public funds to pay for private armed guards would mark a first for the city.” What is likely to happen with the rise of mercs to replace police is that more and more areas in cities will become explicit “no-go zones,” with the mercs there only to protect important ruling class businesses and interests. Everyone else will have to fend for themselves. This will coincide with the walling of neighborhoods, such as taking place on a massive scale in “democratic” Israel and “free and democratic” Iraq, as the U.S. ruling class retreats to heavily armed and guarded gated zones in a bid to live free from the consequences of the multicultural poison they have unleashed in the U.S. on behalf of the corporate and Zionist interests that run the country

Before leaving the topic of growing domestic mercenary armies, there are important ideological or “Info War” aspects I need to address. First, quite a few neo-con media and self-styled academic “libertarians” defend this so-called “privatization” as a return to good-old fashioned free enterprise principles. They raise the question: "What is there not to like about this in a nation that is gasping and wheezing under the weight of “soft Soviet” Big Government with all of its wasteful bureaucracy and over regulation?"
This pseudo-libertarian air cover is important, because it persuades many normally well-intentioned, decent people to condone to support perverse trends fueled by greed rather than wisdom.
Is this really a legitimate form of “free enterprise” and “privatization?” Is it really a “free market” answer to provide more efficient “first responders?”
Interestingly enough, even anarcho-libertarians have doubts. Two examples are Dr. Hans Hermann-Hoppe and Dr. Thomas DiLorenzo.
Dr. Hans Hermann-Hoppe, author of The Myth of National Defense argues for privatizing as much as possible. So does Dr. DiLorenzo, author of How Capitalism Saved America. However, even a staunch anarcho-libertarian like Hoppe has his limits on what should be “privatized.” One area where he is reluctant to let a form of “free market” rule is where people might have a profit incentive to produce what he calls “bads” rather than “goods.” Examples of “bads” include armaments producers who have a profit incentive to foment war to sell more things that kill people and destroy property. It can include a privatized prison system where police and jail keepers have a profit incentive to incarcerate more people (to include the innocent) in order to benefit from contracting out prisoner slave labor. It can also include rootless forms of “social democracy” where politicians have an incentive to run up public debt through wasteful pork barrel spending in order to buy more votes for themselves in order to stay in office and draw more perks.
Hoppe stresses the importance of restructuring incentive systems to focus people on preventing “bads” rather than capitalizing on them. One method involves giving a people a sense of long term caretakership (a term Hoppe uses a lot) through private ownership. Another method involves maintaining free speech and competitive media, so that whistle blowers can effectively alert the public to criminal abuse of private enterprise in order to stop it. Lastly, another method involves incorporating elements of the insurance company business model, where private sector companies are not only responsible for pooling and reducing risk, but also have a strong incentive to help prevent losses in the first place.
Another staunch anarcho-libertarian, Dr. Thomas DiLorenzo, also stresses the need to look under the hood to see what really is getting “privatized.” He has summed up the dark reality behind many superficial “privatization” schemes under either Bush or Obama: “Privatize the profits, socialize the losses.” In other words, it is like a coin flip where "heads" means the company owners get to keep all the profits, and "tails," the taxpayer is expected to cover all the losses.
According to DiLorenzo, this is not a true free enterprise system or free markets in action. In reality, it is simply another form of “crony capitalism,” “corporate fascism,” and “corporate welfare.” DiLorenzo wants to minimize government to minimize pork barrel-related corruption. Furthermore, all other things being equal in with either big business or big government, whenever we decentralize, we tend to get more transparency and accountability. Therefore, by downsizing government in general, and by bringing back States' Rights as a check against runaway federal government, we can restore more grass roots accountability.
Blackwater has been particularly dangerous because it augments schemes to completely centralized federal control of law enforcement across America. As a “private army” it can skirt regulations that normally constrain government employees. In Iraq, mercenaries have been use to hide the use of torture and other abusive practices. This reduced accountability, analogous to corporate “off-balance sheet financing” schemes to hide their true indebtedness, is incompatible with the level of transparency required to run a viable republican and democratic system.
Blackwater is also a beneficiary of “crony capitalism” rather than true free market competition. Many news stories about Eric Prince, the former U.S. Navy Seal in charge of Blackwater, portrayed him as a staunch “good old boy” of the Bush cabal with shared Christian Zionist views. One good example is the story “Explosive Allegations: Blackwater Founder Implicated in Murder" by Jeremy Scahill, The Nation, August 4, 2009”

A former Blackwater employee and an ex-U.S. Marine who has worked as a security operative for the company have made a series of explosive allegations in sworn statements filed on August 3 in federal court in Virginia. The two men claim that the company's owner, Erik Prince, may have murdered or facilitated the murder of individuals who were cooperating with federal authorities investigating the company. The former employee also alleges that Prince "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe," and that Prince's companies "encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life."
In their testimony, both men also allege that Blackwater was smuggling weapons into Iraq. One of the men alleges that Prince turned a profit by transporting "illegal" or "unlawful" weapons into the country on Prince's private planes. They also charge that Prince and other Blackwater executives destroyed incriminating videos, emails and other documents and have intentionally deceived the U.S. State Department and other federal agencies. The identities of the two individuals were sealed out of concerns for their safety.

DiLorenzo and Hoppe argue that real “privatization” of first responder functions in a community (police, firemen, and medical services) must meet certain "smell tests." We need to see evidence that we are increasing decentralized control away from the hands of Federal crony capitalist monopolists. We also need to see improved transparency and increased responsiveness to local needs.
In contrast, the entire thrust of the Bush administration with the Military Commissions Act, NSPD-51, and other dictatorial presidential directives was to generally enhance centralization and secrecy, and increase militaristic arrogance and alienation of local police away from the local population. In addition, “hate crime” legislative initiatives promoted by the sinister Zionist ADL during this same period had the same general objective, namely to include increasing centralized enforcement and interpretation of “hate speech” law enforcement under a nongovernmental entity such as the ADL itself.
Unfortunately these issues have not gone away, despite gains made in spreading public awareness through the free Internet. As two examples, in Chapter 38 I cover the "Police State Pittsburgh" debacle of fall 2009 where police storm troops brutalized student protestors. In his 3 Nov 2009 article "ADL Applauds Itself For Hate Bill Victory," Rev Ted Pike described how the Oct 2009 passage of the "Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act" (HCPA) strikes another blow at free speech by increasing federal centralization of Orwellian "hate crime" monitoring.
Before leaving this important topic of true vs. phony forms of “privatization” of first responders, I want to touch upon some other important viewpoints for the sake of completeness. Also, it will take much more than just libertarian theory alone to adequately steel people's courage in fighting enemies of freedom.
Nationalists typically believe that in the long run it is more the men who make the system than the system who make the men. The best sense of long term caretakership (to repeat that favored word of Dr. Hans Hermann Hoppe) comes from having a shared racial, ethnic, cultural, and religious identity. For example, one never sees anything approaching the levels of corruption we experience in multi-racial, multi-cultural America today in places like Switzerland where ethnic Germans run fellow ethnic Germans in ethnically homogeneous German cantons (likewise with ethnic French and Italian-speaking leaders within French and Italian cantons, respectively), or in other places like Scandinavia where ethnic Nordics run fellow Scandinavians.
This same principle applies to other racial groups. As an example, it reassures blacks in black communities to see some fellow blacks on the police force that patrols their community.
This having been said, we need to bear in mind that the key decision criteria over the last century has not involved what is good for Americans, but rather what is good for Israel and the Jewish Lobby. This principle also applies to the mercenary army concept, which makes sense to Israelis from a long term strategic planning perspective.
In Chapter 32 I discuss evidence that Israel is using the U.S. as a riding horse to seize major oil fields in the Middle East. Israel has always been extremely dependent on the U.S. for economic and military aid, and now desperately needs alternative income streams as American economic and political indicators head south.
At some point when the U.S. dollar goes to zero (see Chapter 33), and America becomes wracked with major instability (see, for example, Tom Chittum's scenario in Civil War Two: The Coming Breakup of America), Israel will need to do a hat trick where it replaces pro-Zionist brainwashed U.S. military personnel with an army of pure mercenaries to maintain its oil income. Israel certainly does not have the manpower to hold down the Greater Israel empire on its own.
Already in Iraq and Afghanistan, mercenaries outnumber U.S. servicemen. Israelis have already commenced a sociological conditioning process to replace America's "derivative military" (see chapter 38) with a totally mercenary force run by themselves around the globe, to include inside the U.S. itself.
Last, but not least, mercenaries can serve as ideal tools for Mossad-CIA to assassinate American political dissidents and whistle-blowers on American soil. According to Michael Collins Piper, this has a long history, to include the very likely Mossad-CIA assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963, as covered in his classic work Final Judgment. In this work Piper also explains why he believes the deaths of Robert F. Kennedy and JFK Jr. were also Mossad hits. In addition, Piper believes the Mossad was brazen enough to murder former CIA Director William Colby because of his opposition to James Angleton, who headed the "Israel desk" within the CIA during the JFK assassination.
The old SPOTLIGHT (forerunner of The American Free Press) explained in the 14 May 1990 article "Israel Murders Americans: U.S. Government Too Meek to Protest" a number of deaths on American soil believed by certain FBI officials and other intelligence professionals to be Mossad hits. They include Col. Robert Bayard, a retired U.S. Army officer, shot dead in Atlanta, Georgia in 1977, and Barry Seal, a pilot and informant involved in Mossad-CIA drug-running operations, shot dead in New Orleans in 1988. The 13 May 1991 article "Mossad Silent Partner: Latin American Drug Pipeline" by Mike Blair reported the opinion by NSA official Paul Neri, that Special Forces Col. Edward P. Cutolo was very likely fatally "accidented" on a U.S. military base courtesy of Mossad assassination expert Michael Harari. Col. Cutolo blew the whistle on "Operation Watch Tower" in which Special Forces "special action teams" provided navigational beacons for Mossad-CIA planes flying cocaine from Columbia to Panama and then on to the U.S.
In Chapter 30, I explain why intelligence professionals such as Wayne Madsen believe that the shooting death of CIA operative Roland Carnaby by Houston police in April 2008 was likely set up by the Mossad. In addition, Madsen attributes the clubbing death of CIA missile expert William Bennett in Landsdowne, Virginia, in March 2009 to the Mossad. Bennett had uncovered evidence that Israel had shared with or sold to China and Russia classified U.S. Patriot missile and stealth technology.
Whether or not the Israelis can create an effective global mercenary army remains to be seen. Many mercenaries may eventually feel revulsion towards Jewish criminal manipulation. Furthermore, in the long run, armies motivated by genuine patriotism typically outlast those motivated only by money.
One example of a patriotic former mercenary whom I have had the pleasure of getting to know on a personal basis is Tom Chittum, author of Civil War Two: The Coming Breakup of America, contributing author for The Nationalist Times, and author of "Day of the Jackass," (Soldier of Fortune Magazine, March 1993). The Mossad is in big trouble if they have to depend on mercenaries like Tom Chittum, because deep inside he is a genuine American patriot, not any kind of gullible stooge for the Zionist New World Order.
As a final note, I must emphasize that Americans can not permit the Mossad or other enemies of freedom to intimidate them out of exercising their Constitutional rights. Americans must not become demoralized, fatalistic, or apathetic. If anything, we must become that much more openly vocal and energetic in our protests to keep the bad guys in the shadows. Conversely, if we allow ourselves to become cowed into silence, these threats will grow like cancers and create Gulag Archipelago II.

 

The 2007 National Intelligence Estimate: More “Push Back?”

In his 8 Dec 2007 interview with Dr. Fetzer, Capt. May discussed the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) surprise. It actually seemed honest for a change!

In his 11 Dec 2007 article “The 2007 NIE: Disloyalty to Royalty” Capt. May explained this development:

"Baghdad has chemical and biological weapons ... if left unchecked, it probably will have a nuclear weapon during this decade." — 2002 NIE

After 9/11, US intelligence services bent over backwards — and forwards — at the whim of the White House. The result was the bastardized analysis of the 2002 National Intelligence Estimate (NIE), which invented an Iraqi WMD program to justify the neocon global war program. The Senate took the newborn casus belli to heart and gave George Bush permission to wage imperial war for the overt reasons of American security and Iraqi freedom — and the covert reasons of oil and Israel…

Since last week’s release of the 2007 NIE, I’ve been in high spirits to find that my former intelligence colleagues have decided to talk truth to power, the way we were trained to do. By failing to support the White House lie of Iranian WMD danger this year they have in some measure atoned for supporting the White House lie of Iraqi WMD danger five years ago. They have provided much-needed leadership to other US professionals who have looked the other way when they should have been looking to their duty. I don’t think it is mere coincidence that the NIE was shortly afterwards followed by a New York Times bombshell about the CIA destroying evidence to cover up Bush administration torture policies.
I’m sure that behind the closed doors, King George is livid that professionals who were once compromised have become uncompromising in revealing unpleasant truths that undercut his prerogatives as our newfangled "unitary executive." His neocon minions are already attacking the new NIE as disloyalty. Call my opinion revolutionary if you wish, but I believe that disloyalty to royalty is all-American, and I hope that King George has not seen the last of it.

An important question remained unanswered. Why did it take over nine months for this NIE to get released?
In his 12 Dec 2007 interview with Dr. James Fetzer, Capt. May offered an interesting interpretation of possible motives. Rather than reflecting any kind of new era of “honesty” timed to help prevent a disastrous attack on Iran, instead the power elite may have cynically played the NIE card to embarrass Bush for failing to pull off a false flag attack to attack Iran on schedule!
In other words, perhaps the power elite felt Bush had just lost too much credibility with the American public to be able to move quickly on their plans to attack Perhaps it was time to start using honesty again to rebuild public credibility while patiently preparing for the next move.

Capt. May: ….Remember this NIE was prepared six months to nine months ago. It has been on Cheney's desk for almost a year. It apparently has been all over Washington for six months. In fact, it was a classified NIE for that reason. I guess you are aware of all that.
Dr. Fetzer: Yes, and that Cheney has been desperately trying to get it revised or contained so that the administration could begin bombing Iran before it was released.
Capt May: Oh yes, but you see I think that in this case they actually are guilty of a fallacy. I don't think the NIE stopped design for a war in Iraq -excuse me, I mean the war on Iran. I think the war on Iran was stopped, and that released the NIE. In other words, divide the geo-political community community into two parts now. There is the neocons, the global Zionist block on one side. The other side is the realists, which probably you and I would belong to back in the Cold War days. I think what happened is that the neocon initiatives --the neocons have been giving their initiatives since 2001, since 911. Because 911 of course was the beginning of the neocon coup to take over of America. I think that there has always been the dilemma of how to continue the global war through the next presidency. And I think what happened is that the apparatus, the realist apparatus of American intelligence and state policy put out an NIE that was hostile to the Iran project and held it over Bush's head.

To Capt. May, the timing of the release of the NIE echoed a similar pattern we had seen once before in the Clinton administration. The idea is to publicly release information that scandalizes a U.S. President after he has failed to comply with a covert scheme of Israel.
President Clinton originally balked at Zionist schemes to bomb Serbia and invade Iraq. He eventually went ahead and bombed Serbia, but restricted himself to bombing Iraq while imposing no-fly zones and an economic blockade. He never sent in troops. Meanwhile, Clinton accepted oral sex on the Oval office carpet from his Jewish intern, Monica Lewinsky, who was in all likelihood handled by a Mossad case officer.
When the strategic time came to dangle a sword over Clinton’s head, Jewish controlled national media publicized the Monica Lewinsky affair and threatened Clinton with impeachment. Bill Clinton’s wife Hillary complained about a “great right wing conspiracy” out to get her husband. This caused neocon media pundit Rush Limbaugh to ridicule “Billary” by selling “Official Right Wing Conspiracy” coffee mugs.
According to many observers, Hillary actually had it right, only it was a different “right wing conspiracy” than most Americans imagined. Her husband had sided with a liberal American Jewish faction against war hawk Likudniks in Israel. He had also snubbed a meeting with Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu when both happened to be passing through the Los Angeles Airport at the same time. Indeed President Clinton really was the target of a right wing conspiracy –the Israeli right wing.
As another side note, that “right wing” is hardly to be trifled with. According to former Mossad agent Victor Ostrovsky, the Mossad tried to assassinate President George Herbert Walker Bush following Desert Storm because he balked at providing additional aid to Israel. In addition to the other Missad hits described earlier in this chapter, Michael Collins Piper explains in Final Judgmentwhy the Mossad likely murdered Robert F. Kennedy using Sirhan Sirhan as a patsy. Piper also believes the Mossad was behind the mysterious aircraft crash of son John F. Kennedy, Jr. once “John John” signaled an interest in running for office and exposing Mossad conspiracies in his magazine George. (In regard to the latter, JFK Jr. ran an article about a possible Likud/Mossad conspiracy behind the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Rabin, viewed as being too conciliatory towards Palestinians. According to one source, the article’s openness and honesty was offensive even to members of the Rabin family, who theoretically should appreciate public efforts to expose the real murderers.)
Further into his interview with Dr. Fetzer, Capt. May described how very close America came to going to war with Iran during the events leading up to TOPOFF in October 2007, with Zionist neocons breathing down the neck of George W. Bush:

Capt. May: I think going into this year the establishment code was in effect using this NIE as a do or die for Bush, saying you either get it done this year, or we can't take the heat any more, Bush. We are going to have to release a document that absolves us of your failure. You know we have given you the chance to be the hero. We let you dress up and walk on the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln like a fighter pilot, let you claim success, we backed up your lies almost without exception, but right now we cannot face the heat. You have until Christmas. And that is the reason, Jim, and here is the point that I think you will appreciate, if you go back to the late spring you get the passing of NSPD-51 --the dictatorship bill --actually it was a Bush executive fiat. Bush's enactment of NSPD-51 the dictatorship act, and then quickly afterwards you start getting things like Chertoff statement that he had a gut feeling that we were going to get hit. Stu Bykofsky, Philadelphia Inquirer [Editor's note: Actually Philadelphia Daily News] columnist neocon, publishing a column in which he says what the United States needs is another 9-11. You know we need it badly. The Republican Chair of Arkansas coming out and saying if we could just have another 9-11 people will follow Bush again. These sentiments; FBI coming out and saying another 9-11 is right around the corner. You remember this summer, the same way now that it is hard to remember, especially for the average person, that there was a drumbeat to war very distinctly in the late summer, early fall.
Dr. Fetzer: Yes.
Capt May: Well there was a warning of a "9-11 to be" attack. The next 9-11. [We code this as] 911-2B. The next 911-2B was being trumpeted about three months before that. And all the paperwork was being prepared to control the 911 2 B attack so as to establish a domestic dictatorship and lead us into an Iranian war. That, by the way, is CONPLAN 8022, which Cheney had enacted two years ago that stipulates any terror act against the United States basically gives us a wolf ticket to start a war against Iran, whether we can prove they did it or not. So really if you look back in time, about the time the NIE was on the scene prepared but not distributed, what you find is a time window of about six months, when it looks like the Bush people wanted the Iran war. But as you and I agree, I think both of us agree with Webster Tarpley on this, you really can't have WWIII without first having 911 2 B. 911 2 B leads to WWIII. I think that this summer the crucial battle that kept us out of World War was fought on the Internet, and I think we were part of it.

A little further into this same interview, Capt. May successfully predicted that America’s power elite would let Bush coast through the remainder of his term without getting impeached. It would relax its false flag efforts somewhat while marking time for the new president.

Capt May: ...I think that this administration is going to be kept out of impeachment, is going to be allowed to drift through on its illegalisms, and everybody is going to be relieved when Bush is close to getting out of office so that he can issue blanket pardons, because that gives everybody a clean slate. I don't see how anyone can get past this view that somehow there is any difference in the geopolitical goals of the Democrats compared to the Republicans. These are just soft shell and hard shell imperialists, and false flaggers and traitors. So I think that Bush is going to be allowed to continue business as usual with running the ship of state. But he is not going to be allowed to go into World War, therefore it would be excessive and risky to allow him to do a 911 to be attack. Any time you do a 911 2 B attack, you risk much, because the Internet has become so efficient as a collective intelligence entity.

Speaking of reduction in tension, Capt. May noted that ever since TOPOFF, even the frequency of his interviews with Dr. Fetzer had dramatically dropped off.
Nevertheless, even diminished odds of a false flag nuke attack are still unacceptable odds. No odds of getting nuked are acceptable. It was for this reason that we felt a public duty to continue crying “wolf” every time a major exercise came up. As Capt. May put it, there is no such thing as crying wolf too when one knows for fact that there really is a very dangerous wolf lurking outside ones door.
The Jewish lobby not only refused to accept the truth of the NIE, but Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert even arrogantly admonished George Bush during a meeting in Annapolis. In his 8 Dec 2007 article “Israel and Top Zionist Leaders Attack Intelligence,” James Petras quoted Olmert:

“….I spoke to the President with unparalleled sharpness about these matters (bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities) and my comments were extremely well received – regarding the freedom (to bomb Iran) we are reserving for ourselves and what we will and won’t do."

Petras also noted how Zionists insisted on having their own way back in Palestine, regardless of diplomatic costs to America:

During and immediately after the Annapolis meetings to discuss peace, Israel abducted the student president of Beir Zeit University for dissent, launched over 50 attacks on Gaza killing and wounding over 50 Palestinian civilians, police and militia, set in motion a vast building project of 250 new apartments in Palestinian East Jerusalem, projected permanent Israeli military posts in the West Bank, rejected any time limits or specific goals in their negotiations with the PLO and launched a virulent dismissal of the major US intelligence report (National Intelligence Estimate) on the non-existence of an Iranian nuclear weapons program.
Israel’s presence at Annapolis had absolutely nothing to do with peace or promises to negotiate in good faith: Their purpose was to deflect attention from their meat-grinder style genocidal policies in Gaza and their relentless drive to savagely dispossess all Palestinians of any territory or semblance of autonomy, literally turning off the lights (energy), gas and water to 1.4 million Palestinians residing in Gaza. Since September 11, 2001 the Israeli state, Zionists inside the US government and the entire leadership of the Major American Jewish Organizations have been entirely devoted to pushing the US into Middle East wars on behalf of Israel. In the run-up to the Iraq War, Zionists in top strategic decision-making positions in the Pentagon, the Vice President’s Office, the White House and the National Security Council designed and executed war policy, fabricated evidence, wrote Presidential speeches, organized press conferences and presidential agendas, purged critics in the military and intelligence agencies and altered intelligence reports to suit their purposes.
Israeli and Zion-Con success in destroying Iraq however was secured at an enormous cost in US military casualties, demoralization and one trillion dollars (and counting) in cost to the US taxpayers. As a result, public opinion dramatically shifted against the war, despite the intervention of the Israeli regime in shaping US public opinion via its army of ‘Israel-First’ academic and journalistic scribes and propagandists with broad access to the US mass media.

On top of all this, Petras noted how Zionist national media gave the National Intelligence Estimate some hefty Orwellian “twist speak:”

Following Orwellian logic AIPAC twisted the NIE report to fit Israel’s rejectionist lead (as it never fails to do) by arguing that the NIE report bolsters the case for continued confrontation, belligerency and isolation (Jewish Telegraph Agency, December 4, 2007).
In fact according to the perverse argument of AIPAC spokesman Josh Block, the absence of any Iranian nuclear weapons threat should result in greater pressure on Iran! ‘All in all, it’s (the NIE) a clarion call for additional and continued (my emphasis) effort to pressure Iran economically and politically to end its illicit nuclear program.’(Jewish Telegraph Agency, December 4, 2007). Once again the Israel Firsters – embracing all the major Zionist organizations and community councils – defy all logic, and the most comprehensive and in depth empirical intelligence report of the US in favor of the propaganda emanating from the failed Israeli intelligence agencies and the Israeli regime. In a continuous barrage of articles and television interviews, the entire Zionist Power Configuration (ZPC) buried the NIE report, refocusing attention on themes like ‘Iran’s nuclear program still a threat’ (Daily Alert, December 7, 2007). During the entire week (December 3-7, 2007) the Presidents of the Major American (sic) Jewish Organizations – covering the entire range of financially powerful Jewish organizations in the USA – published an average of nine articles (nearly 50) propagating the Israeli line. The articles disparaged, distorted and dismissed the NIE and continued to push for the ‘military option’ (euphemism for launching a massive attack on Iran) as well as new economic sanctions to destroy the Iranian economy and the livelihood of its 70 million citizens. The euphoria of anti-war critics who claim the NIE report laid to rest the threat of a new US war with Iran is premature, as is their idea that the ‘Israel Lobby’ was dealt a decisive blow. The ZPC never lost a beat: Israel Firster and Zion-Con fanatic, US Treasury Undersecretary, responsible for terrorism and financial intelligence, Stuart Levey, succeeded in convincing China to tighten trade credit, making trade more difficult and costly for Iran’s private sector. (Financial Times, December 6, 2007, p. 1).

The Jewish-Israeli axis not only had the nerve to browbeat a U.S. President and lie to the American public, but also tried to intimidate and manipulate the U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Capt. May observed in his interview with Dr. Fetzer:

Capt May: …We have the freaky phenomenon of an exchange of chiefs of staff. The Israeli Defense Forces Chief of Staff is going to be coming out here, to basically beat up on the Bush people about not going far enough to set up the stage for an Iran war, and the U.S. Chief of Staff, is going to be -- I think it is Admiral Mullen, is going to Israel basically to get beat up because the U.S. has not pushed enough on the Iranian war. So it is clear, the tail wagging the dog phenomenon, everyone in the whole world knows where the tail is that wags the American dog, except for America. But now it is coming pretty apparent to Americans even where the tail is.
Dr. Fetzer: Well it really is a shocking scenario where the Israelis are lecturing the Americans about how their own intelligence agencies, all 16, have it wrong.
Capt May: Yes, like you say, it is both shocking and offensive that a small country which depends on our support --financial, military, political should be telling us how to run our geopolitical affairs and it is deeply shocking that such a large percentage of the neocons should be lining up behind this foreign country's thoughts about how we should run our business…

Capt May then placed the NIE in its proper context:

Capt. May: This NIE just represents a punt. If they want to come back in two years, which is about the right time sequence, and suddenly say "Iran is reconstituting," and go on another propaganda offensive, lead us to war, they will do it without blushing. There will be full compliance of the media which is nothing but an operational asset of the military-industrial establishment. The intelligence services will fall into line. Anybody who won't fall into line will be removed. You know, career ended, and will do the exact same thing again. But we can't do it now. And I think that is why this NIE was written….

Actually Capt. May was off by six months. As we shall see in Chapter 37,controlled national media came back in a year and a half –not two years-- so that by summer 2009 it was at fever pitch, once again warning Americans about some kind of imminent “nuclear threat” posed by Iran. Still, this was not bad for another one of Capt. May’s predictions.
Returning back to the December 2007 time frame, while Iran appeared to be temporarily off the table, Zionist neocon intriguers were hardly idle. In fact, they were furiously stirring up more trouble with the one enemy that America could least afford –Russia—as noted in the Dec 2007 Fetzer interview:

Dr. Fetzer: You were mentioning how U.S. foreign policy was bringing together the Soviets and the Chinese, which is absolutely fascinating. Here is an article that attempts to pursue that from yesterday. Sorcha Faal: "Putin orders first strike against U.S. forces over Kosovo." She is observing that there are an awful lot of parallels between what is going on in the Balkans now and what was going on in 1914. Here she says:

In response to the latest war provocations by the Western Powers, President Putin today ordered the ‘official’ ending of the arms control treaty with the NATO Nations. Putin has further ordered Russia’s Naval Forces back on World-Wide patrol status, with particular focus being on the Russian Navy’s ability to confront NATO Forces in the Mediterranean Sea, and which controls the sea access to the Balkans.
Particular ominous in these new reports is that Putin has reportedly ordered Russian Military Forces to ‘First Strike’ capability against any NATO force that may seek to block Russia’s sea access to the Balkans and relief to the Serbs upon the outbreak of war.
Though being kept from the American people themselves, and as the former Soviet Leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, has warned, the United States Military Leaders' aggressive moves in the Balkans and the Middle East are designed to confront Russia, and not Iran as these peoples are being led to believe. ..."

Capt May: Well that is certainly true. Bush is basically taking the Warsaw Pact countries and militarizing them to become part of the NATO pact. We have to understand that the heartbeat of this geopolitical movement is coming out of New York and Tel Aviv. That is the axis. It is the U.S.- Israel axis. So it is a worldwide plan. Certainly the central front, as Bush says, is Iraq expanding over towards Iran. That is the jugular vein of the world. The oil pipelines. But it is also going so far that, God knows, we have heard people talking about including Israel in NATO, although Israel has nothing to do with the North Atlantic. Including Australia in NATO? NATO is becoming the all-encompassing league of nations. A league of primarily first world imperial nations. You know if Marxian dialectic had not fallen out of fashion, you could very easily have somebody interpret this as a capitalist-imperialist war cabal where every nation that is not fully developed that can be exploited for forces is exploited. And precisely at the beginning of the point were it begins to resist exploitation, terror or false flag terror are used as a basis to make it an enemy nation.

Despite the fact that President Ronald Reagan promised Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev that the U.S. would not exploit the collapse of the former Soviet Union through encroachment, Mossad-CIA and George Soros, the billionaire Jewish “philanthropist” front man, funneled hundreds of millions of dollars in support of neo-con media, think tanks, and various “coloured” revolutions in former Soviet-dominated countries. The idea was to prepare them politically to some day join NATO, get cozy with Israel, and embrace anti-nationalist dogmas of the New World Order. As another important twist in geopolitical developments, France flip-flopped from a chilly attitude towards America’s Middle Eastern adventures under Jacques René Chirac (President of France from May 1995 until 16 May 2007) to warm embrace under Nicolas Sarkozy. Not surprisingly, the "usual suspects" influenced this turn-around:

Capt May: …Le Figaro publishes a story last month, if you remember it. Le Figaro is basically the Washington Post of France. It publishes an article that indicates that Sarkozy was a Mossad recruit and started working for Mossad in 1983.
Dr. Fetzer: Oh God.
Capt May: No, he was. He was a helper.
Dr. Fetzer: The credentials are everywhere.
Capt May: Well what we have to understand, to get to it, so we see that France since Sarkozy has been elected has done a 180 change from Mitterand's position that the U.S. was up to its ass in alligators in the Middle East. Now all of a sudden France wants in. And no one brings up the anti-Semitic point. You see if you bring up Jewish ethnicity as a part of the equation, you are immediately castigated as an anti-Semite. But the Le Figaro story makes it clear that it is impossible to understand the geopolitics [without understanding the Jewish angle]. The primary factor in the French geopolitical equation right now is Sarkozy's status as an Israel-first Jew in France. I mean for God's sake he is working for the Mossad. Or at least was. And you know once somebody gets on the hook as an intelligence operative, they don't get off. So in the same way you have got Jane Harman. You know, California Jewish Congresswoman who was being investigated by the FBI in 2006 for making deals behind the scenes to try to get this, you know the trials being held against the two AIPAC agents who received secure classified information? Larry Franklin who transferred it over to the Mossad?
Dr. Fetzer: Yes.
Capt May: OK, Harman was trying to derail all that. That was part of the quid pro quo of her getting put in as head of intelligence. Pelosi was previously head of intelligence. That was until 2006 when she became speaker of the House. Now Harman is head of intelligence. You know, folks have become so skittish of this point that they are incapable of seeing things rationally. You know we are dazed and confused and afraid when it comes to the issue of ethnic loyalty.

The last major watershed in late 2007 was the Dec 27th assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. She had returned from self-imposed exile to run as an opposition leader, perhaps even for a third term as Prime Minister.
There is evidence which suggests that the Mossad, CIA, and India's Research and Analysis Wing (India's version of the CIA) colloborated to murder Bhutto. If this is true, this would seem to fit a pattern we saw earlier involving 9/11, Abu Ghraib, the torture of Iraqi children in Samarra, and the false flag bombings of Iraqi mosques. In fact, it may fit an even more frightening possible pattern I uncover in Chapter 36 about a possible global plan for mass genocide through false flag pandemics. We may be talking about some very psychopathic and bloodthirsty people at the top.

The devilish details of Bhutto’s death have all Pakistan raising hell with a wave of riots that could turn in to a revolution before all is said and done. Her frenzied supporters demand answers to questions that their government does not have the credibility to answer satisfactorily. Where was her security at the fatal moment? Who fired the shots that rang out across the crowd, the pistol waving gunman in grainy photos from the scene or the sniper reported by Bhutto supporters? After being shot and then suicide bombed, why does the official autopsy report released a day later claim that neither bullets nor bombs had anything to do with her death?
Some Middle East experts estimate that two thirds of Pakistanis believe that Musharraf and the corrupt Establishment upholding him were either guilty of committing the Bhutto murder, allowing it to happen or covering up details after it happened.

According to Wikipedia, the assassination was blamed by major media on Al Qaeda and Islamists. It was also blamed on Pakistani President Mushareff who had collaborated with America’s war on the Taliban in Afghanistan.

On August 15, 2007, WMR reported that the late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party (PPP) had links to the anti-Musharraf tribal movements and Islamists in Pakistan's rugged mountainous regions. The corporate media is attempting to spin the story that Bhutto was killed by Islamist militants.
The following is what WMR reported on August 15, 2007:

WMR has learned that the CIA is also working with pro-Al Qaeda and Taliban insurgents in Pakistan. Currently, Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia Richard Boucher is visiting Pakistan to repair frayed relations with Pakistani dictator Pervez Musharraf, however, U.S. intelligence is also working with tribal opponents of Musharraf to help destabilize his regime.
Boucher is likely in Pakistan to help bring about the return of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto as Prime Minister in a civilian administration where Musharraf would retain the presidency. Bhutto, who remains in exile, and Musharraf recently met in Abu Dhabi to hammer out a power-sharing agreement.
Bhutto claims she wants to return to Pakistan, as she said, to save her country from "a militant takeover, (and) God forbid, disintegration."
However, Bhutto's own political party is affiliated with the very same Islamic militants in the tribal areas from whom she claims she wants to save her country.
The Bush administration's long-term plan is to use the tribal militants to destabilize Musharraf to the point that a Indian-American-Australian team, that could also possibly include covert Israeli commandos, can enter Pakistan's deep underground laboratories to extract certain key nuclear technologies. The agreement of the Bush administration to provide India with billions in "peaceful" nuclear technology was used to lure India into the covert program to de-nuclearize Pakistan.

Bottom line: Bhutto was the bait to help bring about the nuclear weapons extraction from Pakistan. In his book, "Surrender is Not an Option," former unconfirmed US ambassador to the UN John Bolton wrote, "the principal American strategic interest" is the security of Pakistan's nuclear weapons.

It is also possible that Mossad-CIA was very unhappy with Benazir Bhutto's 2 Nov 2007 interview with David Frost. At 6:14 into the interview, she refused to play along with the official story that Osama Bin Laden was still alive.

Wayne Madsen disclosed another act by Bhutto that may have earned Mossad-CIA's wrath. She was prepared to spill the beans on American election rigging and destabilization operations in Pakistan:

Pakistan's late opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was preparing to hand over to Pennsylvania Republican Senator Arlen Specter and Rhode Island Democratic Representative Patrick Kennedy as report complied by her Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on the use by the Pervez Musharraf regime of funds supplied by the Bush administration to rig the Pakistani election in favor of Musharraf's Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) Party.
The 160-page report was based on information passed on by PPP informants inside Pakistan's intelligence and law enforcement infrastructure and Musharraf's government. The plans included staging "false flag" terrorist attacks at key polling stations where the opposition would be strongest, hacking into vote tabulation computers at the Central Election Commission and other election computers around the country to flip votes to Musharraf's candidates, and using signals intelligence (SIGINT) and other monitoring equipment, paid for by the United States, to affect the outcome of the election. The Pakistani Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) was to conduct the illegal operation from a secure location in Islamabad, the Pakistani capital.
The corporate media is beginning to cast aspersions on the PPP report, suggesting it had nothing to do with Bhutto's assassination. However, on the eve of the Iowa caucuses in the United States and memories of massive election engineering in Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004, these revelations about "election engineering" involving Pakistani and American intelligence may have consequences far from Pakistan.
Ironically, the PPP report was to be handed to Specter, the author of the cockamamie "single bullet theory" in the Warren Report on President John Kennedy's assassination and Patrick Kennedy, the nephew of the slain president. Bhutto was cut down in an assassination hours before she was to give the two lawmakers a copy of the report.
WMR is currently attempting to procure a copy of the entire PPP report.
Details on American involvement in election engineering in Pakistan will surely have an impact on recent dubious close elections and referendums involving reported widespread tampering, including those in Kenya, Mexico, France, Ukraine, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Italy, and Germany.

Without question, Benazir Bhutto presented different faces to different people. The 28 Dec 2007 story “Benazir Bhutto: Oxford party girl cursed by blood-soaked family dynasty” by Richard Pendlebury described her terms as Prime Minister as being afflicted with a combination of ineffectuality and charges of corruption, particularly on the part of her husband, dubbed “Mr. 10%.”
Different countries and cultures have different standards. In spite of the negatives, please note that around 5 minutes, 20 seconds into her 2 Nov 2007 interview with David Frost, she stated that “…In 1993, when Pakistan was on the brink of being declared a terrorist state, I stopped the rise of terrorism.”
In his update titled "December 30-31, 2009 -- Intelligence sources: Plane incident a false flag involving trinity of CIA, Mossad, and RAW," Wayne Madsen reported:

The tripartite alliance of the CIA, Mossad, and RAW were behind the terrorist attacks on Mumbai earlier this year and on December 28, Rupee News reported the three agencies worked together, along with former Afghan KHAD intelligence agents, to assassinate former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto: "The Benazir assassination was pre-planned and executed via triangulation by Khad, RAW, CIA and Mossad using the most modern radio active weapons available in the market. The Israeli PM publicly admitted helping India in Kargil recently. The purpose of the covert Khad, RAW, CIA, Mossad operations is to destabilize Pakistan. The IMF plan to de-fang Pakistan in 2000 did not work, but provincial autonomy will make the center bankrupt triggering an implosion."

Senior Bhutto party official Farzana Raja told Reuters in the 28 Dec 2007, Ha’aretz, article “At least 15 dead in Pakistan unrest in wake of Benazir Bhutto assassination” "It is the act of those who want to disintegrate Pakistan because she was a symbol of unity. They have finished the Bhutto family. They are enemies of Pakistan."

Another important dimension in this story emerged in July 14, 2009 when RT interviewed Wayne Madsen. According to RT, the new CIA Director Leon Panetta accused Cheney of ordering an eight year Congress deception.

RT Moderator: Washington is caught up in a political scandal centering on the former Vice President, Dick Cheney. It follows a move by the new CIA Director to cancel a secret plan to find and kill Al-Qaeda leaders. He says when in office, Cheney ordered the agency to withhold information about the anti-terror program from Congress. For more on the story, I am now joined live by investigative journalist and RT contributor Wayne Madsen. Now why do you think the Director of the CIA Leon Panetta made this information about a secret effort to destroy Al Qaeda leaders public now? Why not earlier?
Wayne Madsen: Well Mr. Panetta obviously knows this story is not going to go away any time soon, and is going to get worse. What Mr. Panetta obviously knows is although there was some initial involvement by the CIA in this program early on, and it was described to me by U.S. intelligence officials as a modern day Phoenix program. That was during the Vietnam War. The CIA and the U.S. military Special Forces cooperated to assassinate Viet Cong leaders. That is how it started out. But how it ended up is something Mr. Panetta and others in the agency wanted no part of, because it went far outside of targeting Al Qaeda leaders and may have operated in friendly, allied countries and the United States itself.
Moderator: So now this case has become public knowledge. You said a little early it is going to get worse. How much more can we expect to get detailed information about this case now that it is public?
Madsen: Well even Senator John McCain who lost the Presidential election to Barack Obama said just the other day he expects that we will get more revelations about this secret assassination program and all bets are that we are in the initial stages of this scandal. That there will be many, many more shoes that will drop before this blows over. This may be with us for some time.
Moderator: So what next, though? Could we actually see the Bush administration be investigated for concealing vital information regarding what is regard as questionable practices abroad.
Madsen: Well, I think it is going to get quite serious. I spoke to several U.S. intelligence officials who are telling me that this assassination team may have targeted politicians in other countries. One name mentioned prominently was former Pakistani Prime Benazir Bhutto, who may have been a victim of this particular program. Also the name Jonas Savimbi came up, the former head of Angola's UNITA, who may have outlived his usefulness as far as Mr Cheney was concerned, especially since Angola became quite a big oil supplier to the United States, and Mr. Savimbi's role as a guerilla leader, although he was an ally of the United States, was overtaken by events. Two names --political assassinations -- this harkens back to another era of the 1960's and 1970's which saw a great Congressional oversight of U.S. intelligence activities. The CIA wants to get out from under this, but there is a certain amount of glee right now that Mr. Cheney who has had very bad relations with the CIA is in this kind of political hot water, as [far as] some rank and file CIA officers are concerned.

Benazir Bhutto had at least a couple of things in common with Jonas Savimbi. First, both were unusually intelligent. She was a cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa grad of Radcliffe College at Harvard University. Jonas Savimbi was a master of many languages and once was on track to become a medical doctor. Secondly, both had been allies of the West.
The suggestion by Wayne Madsen that both may have become the victims of Dick Cheney and Mossad-CIA reinforces the observation by Henry Kissinger that being America’s ally can be more dangerous than being its enemy.
However, I would qualify Kissinger's remark by questioning whether anyone at the very top of the shadow oligarchy that rules America and Britain might be considered in any way "American."

"A report by Jeremy Scahill in The Nation (Blackwater’s Black Ops, 9/15/2010) revealed that the largest mercenary army in the world, Blackwater (now called Xe Services) clandestine intelligence services was sold to the multinational Monsanto. Blackwater was renamed in 2009 after becoming famous in the world with numerous reports of abuses in Iraq, including massacres of civilians. It remains the largest private contractor of the U.S. Department of State “security services,” that practices state terrorism by giving the government the opportunity to deny it.
Many military and former CIA officers work for Blackwater or related companies created to divert attention from their bad reputation and make more profit selling their nefarious services-ranging from information and intelligence to infiltration, political lobbying and paramilitary training – for other governments, banks and multinational corporations. According to Scahill, business with multinationals, like Monsanto, Chevron, and financial giants such as Barclays and Deutsche Bank, are channeled through two companies owned by Erik Prince, owner of Blackwater: Total Intelligence Solutions and Terrorism Research Center. These officers and directors share Blackwater.
One of them, Cofer Black, known for his brutality as one of the directors of the CIA, was the one who made contact with Monsanto in 2008 as director of Total Intelligence, entering into the contract with the company to spy on and infiltrate organizations of animal rights activists, anti-GM and other dirty activities of the biotech giant.
Contacted by Scahill, the Monsanto executive Kevin Wilson declined to comment, but later confirmed to The Nation that they had hired Total Intelligence in 2008 and 2009, according to Monsanto only to keep track of “public disclosure” of its opponents. He also said that Total Intelligence was a “totally separate entity from Blackwater.”
However, Scahill has copies of emails from Cofer Black after the meeting with Wilson for Monsanto, where he explains to other former CIA agents, using their Blackwater e-mails, that the discussion with Wilson was that Total Intelligence had become “Monsanto’s intelligence arm,” spying on activists and other actions, including “our people to legally integrate these groups.” Total Intelligence Monsanto paid $ 127,000 in 2008 and $ 105,000 in 2009.

Following false bomb threats against the Eiffel Tower and a Paris suburban train station on September 14, Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux has repeatedly warned the French that they were under an increased terrorist threat.
