woman has married a royal. Anglicized romanticism is the spirit

United States and Canada up above. Oceania is focused on a single
event, and if evildoers were to spoil the sport, it would react
with rage.

Indeed
the U.S. is sparing no effort to celebrate the nuptials, scheduling
the launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour as a lavish royal firework.
An American princess will attend, Arizonan Representative Gabrielle
Giffords, who rose from the offices of the ADL to the halls
of Congress. A subject of public sympathy since the January
8 assassination of 9-year-old Christina Green 111 days ago,
Giffords will watch her prince, Captain Mark Kelly (USN), pilot
mission STS-134.
Barack
Obama will be there, too, after making a detour to Alabama,
the heart of Dixie. It was the most devastated of half a dozen
former Confederate states that were attacked by apocalyptic
weather Wednesday, in what meteorologists are calling the tornado
storm of the century. It makes Southerners remember being targeted
by the hurricane season of the century six years ago, when Katrina
mass-murdered New Orleans, prompting Bush 43 to remark:
"It's
as if the entire Gulf Coast were obliterated by the worst
kind of weapon you can imagine."

was mighty bright of Obama to choose different words, kinder
and gentler than his predecessor's. In a press conference yesterday,
before introducing his DOD and CIA leader picks, he said:

All-Source Intelligence Officer (TASIO) like me, so I'll offer
my opinion that officials should reflect on the 1997 revelation
by former Secretary of Defense William Cohen:

are simultaneously launched towards Moscow and New York, prompting
nuclear war. The Big Bad, of course, is safe in his undersea
base.
Tomorrow
Never Dies also reused this plot, with an evil media
mogul trying to provoke a nuclear war between Britain and
China.
In
the Woody Allen comedy Bananas, the dictator of San
Marcos (a Fictional Counterpart of Cuba) attempts to assassinate
a bumbling American tourist and frame a revolutionary group,
in order to obtain American aid against the insurgents. It
backfires, ultimately leading to the tourist becoming the
leader of San Marcos.
In
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country there were
a bunch of false-flag operations going on, with Klingons firing
on themselves to try and start a war, then (at least in the
video releases) Humans pretending to be Klingons to assassinate
the Klingon Chancellor at a peace conference. (Both incidents
were part of the same conspiracy: Humans, Klingons and Romulans
coming together to prevent peace. Awww...)
While
a Film example, apparently Star Wars 1 through 3
was all about false flag operations; To trigger the creation
of the Republic Grand Army for instance, to later become his
own Imperial Army, and one huge galactic, totalitarian dictatorship.
Palpatine/Sidious played off both sides, which he both controlled.
